The senior girls volleyball team had a fantastic run at OFSAA in Burlington over the last few days. The girls finished 2nd in their pool with a 3-1 record and qualified for the championship quarter finals. The team played a tough #3 ranked Thornlea team but battled hard and took the game to 5 exciting sets, eventually losing the quarter final game. This team of athletes have been a truly special group and had an absolutely phenomenal season. A special thanks to all the staff and students for their well-wishes, cheering and support. Congratulations ladies - Phaneuf and Sanford are so proud of you.

Hey Katey, have you heard what the period 4 grade 12 religion classes are doing? No Victoria, I haven't. Tell me about it! Well, we are doing a hygiene product and soap drive for Canadian Food 4 Children, and we need UCC’s help! Oh wow! I want to be a part of that. How can I help? What products should I bring? Products that we’re asking for are things like bars of soap, body wash, feminine products, hair products and dental hygiene products. Awesome! When does it start?

We are starting to collect donations on March 5th, the start of Lent. We will be coming around until the end of lent, which is April 17th. A box will be provided to each period 4 class to keep your donations in, whichever class brings the most products will win a super secret surprise…. (OUUUUUUUUU) We hope to reach our goal of at least 1000 items! Cool! Thanks for informing me. I hope everyone steps up and con-trib-utes to this change! BYE LANCERS!!!!

This is a reminder to all students helping run the Ash Wednesday services today to meet in the theatre for 8:15.
