The Girls Hockey team are SWOSSAA champions! They defeated the Sandwich Sabres 5-2 and have earned a birth at the OFSAA championships in March. Cassie Whiteye got the Lancers on the board early, assisted by Natalie Bray. Natalie then proceeded to score two goals in two minutes to give the Lancers a lead heading into the 3rd Period. Cassie contributed another goal to extend the Lancer lead. The Lancers defended hard, and Brooke MacLeod iced the game with an empty netter late in the 3rd to solidify the girls OFSAA birth. Congrats girls we are so proud of you. The girls will now compete in the OFSAA championship after the March break in Windsor. GOOOOOOOO Lancers!!!!!!!!!!!!
