The UCC track and field team competed at the SWOSSA championships in Windsor Wednesday and Thursday. The following individuals qualified for OFSAA Regionals: Sofia M, DJ P, Gavin M, Addison H, Aiden F, Ashlynn B, Brock L, Eric W, Jeremy V, Keaton K, Audrey G, Caleb R. Caleb also won the Novice boys athlete of the meet. Boys 4x400 made up of DJ P, Jordan M, Jared L, and Gavin M were only 3 tenths of a second off of a 21-year-old school record.
Good luck to all of those making the next step into OFSAA Regionals, and an incredible thank you to those athletes that have made this season an incredible success.

The Senior Boys Soccer team competed in the LKSSAA finals last against St. Pats. They played one of their best games of the season, dominating St Pats in possession, not allowing St Pats any opportunities and outplayed them in all aspects on the pitch. The Lancers created several chances, and hit the post, but could not find a way through on net throughout regulation and extra time. Unfortunately, the boys would lose in penalty shootouts. Mr. Kalp & Mr. Wright are extremely proud of the way the boys played last night and their efforts all season long, they truly deserved a better fate. We would like to recognize our graduating players Aidyn S, Cash P, Greg V, Hanhee L, Nathan A and Jordan M, for all their contributions to UCC soccer and wish them all the best in the future. Go Lancers!!!!

Decades Day is Tuesday, May 24th. Each grade dresses up according to their decade; Gr. 9's - 50's, Gr. 10's - 60's, Gr. 11's - 70's, Gr. 12's - 80's, Teachers - 90's. School appropriate clothing and if you don't want to participate, wear your regular uniform.
