This past weekend, our Jr. Girls Volleyball team traveled to Amherstburg to compete in the Northstar Tournament. Although the day started off a bit rough, the girls showed incredible determination and growth as the tournament went on. With hard work and a positive attitude, they continued to improve each match and finished the day by winning the Bronze Division!

The girls worked together, stayed focused, and supported one another, making it an overall amazing day for the team.

A special shout-out goes to our “lucky charm,” Syd S., who stepped into the middle position with no prior practice and absolutely rocked it!

The senior girls volleyball team headed to North Star on Friday to compete in their second tournament of the season. The girls finished first in their pool and played solid matches, despite missing some members of the team. The girls lost a very hard fought battle in the Gold semi finals. MVP of the night was Leah Hamilton for her strong defence and serves. The team travels to St. Pat's on Tuesday for their last league night before the break. Great job ladies!

Thanks to those who tried the Eighth Day of Christmas puzzle on Friday. Congratulations to our winner: Jonath A. Please check your email for how to claim your prize.

Come to the 300s to try today's puzzle and figure out what X is on the Ninth Day. You can still submit an answer for previous puzzles and be entered into our grand prize draw just before Christmas!

The senior boys basketball team had an eventful weekend at the University of Windsor beating Oakwood 70-38 and St Anne’s 54-50. But the boys had an off game and lost to Holy Names. DJ P., was a terror on defense and Owen D., provided fire power off the bench.

This is your last week to get your Lancer Lens response recorded for the Christmas Assembly. This month's question is: What message would you tell someone who needs to know they belong at UCC?

Step up to the camera in the Denomy showcase, hit record! It's easy!

This past weekend the wrestling squad split up into 2 groups. 17 wrestlers competed in London to return with 11 medals and 3 wrestlers fought in Brampton and 1 returned with a win/loss in her Bronze medal match.Gold medalists were Brooklyn B., and Ayden B. Silver medalists were Anna K., Lydia W., and Cameron V. Bronze Medalists were Magdelene U., Anthony P., and basically Emmanuella C. Emmanuella lost 1st match and then went on to win her remaining matches. She was ahead 9 to 0 and would have needed 1 more to secure her Bronze medal when she unfortunately suffered a dislocated shoulder. The wrestlers will be regrouping and hosting their annual Christmas tournament this Thursday in the Lancer dome! Wish them luck!
