This week marks the beginning of our annual Advent - Wrapped in Warmth Campaign! The first week of Advent is all about Hope, and we are turning that hope into action by helping our community stay warm this winter. Our focus for the next three weeks is collecting Warmth Items. Please bring in new or gently used winter coats. hoodies, scarves, hats, gloves, socks, and blankets. These simple items can make a huge difference in someone's life when the temperature drops. Collections will happen on Fridays during Period 4. Let’s share our hope and generosity by ensuring everyone in our community stays warm. Thank you for participating!

LISTEN UP LANCERS, this wednesday we’re launching something brand new at UCC: The Lancer Lens. It’s our own version of the 90s version of Speakers Corner — a space where every student can share their voice, their encouragement, and their belief in a more inclusive school community. You’ll find it in the main hall display case. Step up, hit record, and answer one question: What would you say to someone who needs to know they belong at UCC? Your clips will help build a school-wide video celebrating inclusion and belonging, premiering at the Christmas assembly. Stop by, share your voice, and make someone’s day. more details to come tomorrow

The Boys Hockey team opened the new campaign last night at Erickson. Despite the 2-1 loss, the boys began to find their rhythm in the 3rd, outskating and outworking their cross-town rival. Gavin W scored his first as a Lancer and Dylan V made several jaw dropping stops. His best was on a penalty shot, which LKSSAA historians have said only happens once every ten years.
The Boys look to get in the win column tomorrow as the host the LK Cardinals. Go Lancers Go!
