We want to take a moment to thank all of the incredibly brave and talented Lancers that auditioned for our musical "The Descendants". The creative team was blown away by the talent that we have in our Lancer Family! Some individuals will be selected for callbacks. Please keep a close on your email as you will be notified today by 8pm. If you receive an email, click on the google classroom link to find the callback music that you will need to learn. You will also need to see Ms. Magliaro tomorrow in room 205 to collect your callback scenes to work on. The rest of the group will receive an email by Friday afternoon indicating if you made it or not. Please keep your eye on your email!!!

Congrats to our UCC Lancers who competed at the LKSSAA championship yesterday in Chatham. Jon D., and Ethan T., battled until the end, eventually losing in a heartbreaking tie breaker to a tough team from Great Lakes, resulting in an end to their season. Tough luck boys. Shout out to Molly C., our grade 9 girls singles player who played with grit all day, eventually finishing in 4th and earning a berth in the SWOSSAA championships next week. Well done! Thanks to the scorekeeping help from Amelia, Emersyn, Riley and Shayla. Tennis practices resume today at 4pm. All players are welcome.

Thursday after school at 3:45 the UCC Senior boys football team takes on the yellow team from down the street. Let's get a crowd there. What better way to kick off your long weekend. Look forward to seeing as many Lancer fans as possible. Go Blue.

The jr girls basketball team had a great team effort last night beating John McGregor. They shot the lights out as all 11 players scored and as a team they made 11 3pointers. Rebecca M., had her best offensive game of the season scoring 11 points. It was a lot of fun seeing all the students who came out to watch the game. Thanks for supporting the team.
