What can we make together?
This question embodies the spirit of theatre --collaborative, playful, generous and of the moment. This is also the spirit of Berridge Programs. For twelve summers a group of teaching artists have gathered in a French chateau with young actors from around the world to see what we can make together. It’s the spirit that underpins our teaching and infuses our program.
Berridge offers a nurturing, supportive environment for young artists to discover the joy of the theatre making process. We have classes in Shakespeare, Movement, Voice, On Camera, Acting Techniques, Musical Theatre, Directing, Writing and Improvisation as well as a Film Program where students can write, shoot, direct, produce and edit their own festival quality short film. Our students live in community at the Chateau le Mont Epinguet, a 17th century chateau in the heart of Normandy, France.
Let us make something with your students this summer and work together to create more confident, courageous and compassionate theatre makers.
