A Message from the Principal

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,

It is with great pleasure, on behalf of the staff of Christ the King Catholic School, to welcome you to our school community for the 2006 – 2007 school year. We look forward to working together to ensure that our students succeed and remain committed to promoting a welcoming and inclusive school learning environment. Our primary goal is to educate your children in a Catholic environment. Our Christian values remain the center of everything we do in support of our children’s spiritual development.

It is the belief of all of us that the best possible education of your child can be nurtured through effective communication. We value our home-school-parish partnerships that enable us to share our mutual responsibilities in caring for all children.

The purpose of our school planner/handbook is to assist your child in developing essential organizational skills as well as offering an added communication tool. The planner will be used as a daily part of the learning program to help students set goals and develop time management, track assignments and assist with daily study skills. Please take time to know your child’s teacher, visit the school, sign tests, check notebooks, help with homework and encourage your child to read.
