Welcome to our website!
St. Philip Catholic School is located in the town of Petrolia, in the County of Lambton. We have about 215 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 that live in the town of Petrolia and the surrounding rural area. We are a feeder school for St. Christopher Catholic Secondary School located in the city of Sarnia.
Our school is next to St. Philip Church and we enjoy a strong and supportive partnership with our St. Philip Parish staff.
St. Philip Catholic School Council is made up of a group of dedicated and interested parents who work to enhance the education of all of the children in our school community. Many committees of this council work on projects that assist in curriculum enhancement through assisting teachers with activities and fundraising for learning materials, spiritual growth across the school and connections to the community, playground and facilities development and enhancement and support of school initiatives.
The hard working staff at St. Philip Catholic School is always friendly and willing to serve. The staff model and teach acceptance and tolerance of one another, commitment to the Catholic faith and set high academic standards for our children. The welcoming environment that this group of individuals works collaboratively to create, helps to make St. Philip Catholic School the caring school community evident to all those who walk through our doors.
