Jeanne Girard, Principal
I look forward to working with all of the St. Agnes Catholic School Community; our students, parents, staff and our Chatham Catholic Family of Parishes, to support the journey of learning, faith and growth for each of our students.
The dedication within our community is evident in all aspects of the daily experience, from our regular visits with members of the Parish Team and our other community partners, to our Heroes In The Hallway and Fruits of the Holy Spirit Awards. It is evident that our staff hold very high standards for each of our students and will do their best to prepare them as 21st century life long learners.
The warm welcome and hospitality within our community with ongoing visits, various meetings and parental support is amazing and speaks very highly of everyone who works so hard to making St. Agnes Catholic School a place where each and every student can, and will thrive.
At St. Agnes Catholic School we believe very deeply in the St. Clair Catholic District School Board strategic priorities
- Living our faith;
- Promoting educational achievement and innovation; and
- Fostering stewardship, leadership and social justice.
I also truly believe that it is our mission and challenge to educate our students with the belief that all students can learn and achieve success with the proper supports and a community of learners, including fellow classmates, who support each other.
Our parent advisory council meets regularly and works extremely hard to provide for experiences that enhance and support the learning experience. I invite you to consider joining this awesome team.
I look forward to the many opportunities in the upcoming months. Please, always feel free, to contact me with suggestions and concerns.
News Team Updates – North Chatham Elementary School Construction Project
Three students have been selected to form a news team that will provide regular updates on the progress of construction of the new north Chatham Catholic elementary school on McNaughton Avenue, West. This innovative communications initiative will not only deliver regular updates on the project to the community, but will also provide a tremendous experiential learning opportunity for our students. Every four to six weeks, the students will visit the site and interview Board officials and project managers, then produce a news story that will be posted to the Board website. Watch the first story now below.
May God Bless the work of all members of our community!
