The administrative job action (work-to-rule) by members of the Ontario English Catholic Teachers' Association (OECTA) will begin on Monday, January 13, 2020.
OECTA has directed its members across Ontario not to participate in any EQAO-related activities, which includes the administration and marking of the Grade 9 math assessment. At St. Clair Catholic, these assessments were scheduled for Thursday, January 16 and Friday, January 17, 2020. As a result of this job action, these assessments are cancelled.
Parents and guardians of students enrolled in Grade 9 Applied and Academic math courses will receive a further communication on Monday, January 13, 2020.
