Daily Announcements

Wednesday, November 15th, 2023

There is still time to be nominated or nominate a friend for being kind. Did someone share an act of kindness with you? Submit their name to win a self-care basket by filling out a "Caught in the Act" nomination form. Forms are accessible through a teacher and can be returned to the teacher to be submitted for the draw. Keep those nominations coming!

Today's kindness challenge is gratitude. Take some time today to write a letter, send a text or tell someone how much they mean to you and that you appreciate them. According to Harvard Health research, gratitude helps you “feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve your health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships.”

A word from Pope Francis at the Inaugural Mass in 2013, “To protect creation, to protect every man and every woman, to look upon them with tenderness and love, is to open up a horizon of hope, it is to let a shaft of light breakthrough the heavy clouds.” Let kindness prevail in our world.
