The Study and Go Abroad Fair is Canada's largest international university and student travel expo and is on Sunday, March 1 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.  At this free event, students can learn about undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, certificate and diploma programs abroad.  The expo will also include a Student Travel Zone where you can learn about organizations offering internships, volunteer programs, work abroad and language travel.  For more information, check out the posters around the school or see Mr. Estoesta in Guidance.

The weight room will be closed today after school.  See you Wednesday!

The first after school Literacy Workshop will run today after school. Please come to room 205.  Today's focus will be on summarizing, finding the main idea and supporting details.  Remember, all those who attend will have their names entered into a draw to win a personal pepperoni pizza that will be delivered to you this Friday at lunchtime.

Attention grade 9, 10, and 11 students. Are you interested in challenging yourself mathematically and expanding your problem solving skills? The University of Waterloo Math Contest will be held on February 25th during period 1 and 2. If you are interested in writing, please see Mr. Rivard in the math office or room 304 to signup on or before this Thursday.

Pedagape will start up next Monday, February 10th. We invite all members and newcomers to join us in room 919, after school.

There will be no catering club tonight.

Attention all Lancers for Life! Welcome back to semester 2! There will be a mandatory meeting this Thursday after school in room 610. As always, any new staff and or students are welcome to attend.

Yearbook will be meeting tonight at 2:30 in the communications room. Yearbook is also accepting new members especially students who will be graduating this year.

The boys hockey team will meet in room 603 immediately at the start of second lunch. This will start at 12:16 and will only be a few minutes regarding our upcoming games. See you in room 603!

If you would like to help create a more safe and welcoming environment at our school, please consider joining the Rainbow Alliance Club. The first meeting will begin next Tuesday, after school, in room 608.
