The Lancers curling teams competed in the LKSSAA bonspiel on Monday in Blenheim. The girls team of Cora Vince, Erica Robertson, Kylie Farrell, Olivia Taylor and Leanne Burgess closed out their season with a loss in the semi-final game. Congratulations to the girls on all of your success this season. The boys team of Alex Jeromel, Austin Haddock, John Pumfrey and Caden Rivard are LKSSAA champions. They defeated Sarnia Northern in the semifinal game and Sarnia St. Pat’s in the finals. They will be playing in SWOSSAA on Monday March 4th, in Blenheim. Good luck boys.

Any students who are interesting in building things and winning cash prizes can sign up for the Professional Engineers of Ontario's annual competition. Teams of 4 design and build a solution to a mystery problem under the supervision of a practicing engineer. The competition takes place at CKSS on Saturday, March 30th. Have you put together your me to We Dodgeball Dream Team yet? If so, collect the money from your teammates and formally register in the Cafeteria today and tomorrow at either lunch. You will be asked to fill out a registration form, be given the Team requirements and receive a “get out of class” form. All forms must be returned by early next week to be eligible to compete in the tournament.
If you have not formed your dream team yet, you better get on it, spots are filling up quickly. This is an event you won’t want to miss out on. There is currently a Spectacular Staff Team forming, they may be unstoppable!
