Your 7s rugby team went to Whitby yesterday to compete at a university showcase tournament. After a long day, they ended up finishing second, losing a heartbreaker to the host school. There was an excellent showing by all, and Anna K. was named UCC’s MVP of the tournament. Their final tournament is tomorrow in London, and the girls are looking to take home the gold!
The senior girls basketball team beat Northern last night 62-60 to clinch second place in league play. Kinsey Cottingham led the offence with 22 points while Daphne N. had 16 & Alyssa Lee H. 14. Peyton N. made huge contributions on defence. The Lancers will now host Northern in the semi finals next week. Great work lancers!
