The newly minted UCC Girls volleyball tournament team played their first tournament Friday night. Playing with only 5 players all night, the girls emerged from pool play in 1st place. Unfortunately, they came up on the short end of a three-set thriller in the semifinals, losing 16-14 in the decisive set.
Haylee C. & Stella N. led the lancers with their leadership and determination. Congratulations girls on a highly successful first tournament.
14 wrestlers grappled in St. Thomas on Sunday. 7 of them pinned down medals. Alyssa C., & Paige S. took a tight grip on gold medals. Emmanuella C. locked up a shiny silver medal. Anthony P., Zack C., Ayden B., and Abby C-B., buckled down bronze medals. Yesterday we were definitely Lancer loud and once again the wrestlers make us Lancer proud!
