The Chatham Goodfellows is in need of volunteers for this FRIDAY Dec.10 – if you are interested in helping out the Goodfellows fill out the form in the ‘Guidance Update’ group of your Edsby accounts.
Attention all aspiring actors and performers – the NTS Drama Festival will be running at the Capitol Theatre in APRIL 2022. UCC is holding auditions for our one-act show this coming Monday December 13 and Tuesday December 14 right after school in the theatre. In order to audition YOU MUST SIGN UP using the one of the QR Code posters located in the main halls. Please ensure you sign up for one of the audition dates using this QR code by Friday December 10 – we will not able to take students in last minute on the audition days. The senior boys basketball team didn’t beat Sarnia Northern last night. The final score was 71-66. Because of their great defensive effort, the team was able to keep it close at the end but just couldn’t get key 3 pointers to fall. The team plays again at home, Tuesday night. Juniors at 5:45 and seniors at 7:15
The Senior Girls Hockey team kicked off their season in style last night beating the Wallaceburg Tartans 8-1. Natalie Bray got the Lancers on the board first, with a quick snipe in the second period. Abby Stonehouse started her Lancer Hockey career with a hat-trick, with fellow UCC rookies Fiona Waddick, Hannah Butzer, Addison Arnold and Arionna Hopkins also lighting the lamp. The Lancers put in a strong performance on the defensive end of the ice as well, and Amber Parent made 34 saves for the win. The Lady Lancers will face off against city rivals CK next Wednesday at Erickson Arena. Goooo Lancers!
