Do you know what sport has been around the longest? Cave drawings put its origins to about 15 000 years ago. With its inception in 708BC, Wrestling is one of the oldest Olympic sports. It is the most foundational sport for UFC or MMA fighters. Want to learn more about one of the toughest sports known to mankind? Show up to the caf after school Wednesday and Thursday this week.

The Junior Boys Soccer team are LKSSAA champions! In a barn burner of a game against Sarnia Northern, the boys came back from being down twice to win the game late 4-3 and remain undefeated on the season. DJ P got the lancers on the board early from a set piece. Brock L scored a beautiful header from a corner to tie the game up at two. Xavier M scored his first of two goals, to tie the game up at 3. In the dying minutes of the game, there was a mad goalmouth scramble, and Xavier got something on it to help the ball just over the line and give the Lancers the lead they would not relinquish. Nate V was lively all game and came close to burying a few. Antonio F and Luke V were beasts at the back, as the lancers defended well late against 6 set pieces in the second half alone. Mr Wright and Mr. D are proud of all the boys on the team and their efforts this year! Gooo Lancers!!!
