Here is some Literacy news for grade 10 students and some senior students...ALL OSSLT results from the fall are in!
Grade 10 students will be able to pick up result certificates today when you look at your final exams. Your English teachers from last semester will have them. Any senior students who wrote are invited to head down to see Ms. Magliaro, during period 2 and 3, in room 107. Any grade 10 students who haven't written yet or students who wish to rewrite will get more information in the coming weeks. Good job Lancers!

Attention all badminton players. We are starting preseason badminton tonight from 7-9pm for any and all students interested in playing Junior or Senior badminton this year. Come out prepared to play with athletic clothing, proper shoes, eye protection and your racquet. If you don't have a racquet or eyewear they will be provided. Can't make it! Badminton nights will continue each Monday in February from 7-9pm. See you there.

This past weekend the UCC cheerleaders competed at the Ontario Cheer Championships in Brampton. The girls were outstanding!! They came out with first place in our category!! They also earned a Judges Choice award for Terrific Tumbling! Amazing! They slayed the house down!! They made UCC Proud!

The senior lancers basketball team continued their winning ways this weekend going 4-0. The highlight was a convincing win over Lucas, the top team in London, 83-47. The regular season wraps up this week with two home games. On Tuesday we host CK and on Thursday Northern comes to town. Come out and support the team. Tip off is at 7:00.

The UCC Drama club will be holding auditions for a one act play "Before we begin, please note that this play is in no way sanctioned by the Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association, the Canadian Union of Public Employees, or, for that matter, by the teachers themselves.
