Are you in grade 10, 11, or 12 and enjoy mathematics? The University of Waterloo Canadian Intermediate and Senior Math Contests are taking place on November 16th and our school is participating. If you are interested please see Mr. Rivard in room 304 before school or at lunch to sign up or for more information. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday October 19th. Don't worry grade 9s, there will be more contests later in the year that you can sign up for!

Attention ALL graduating students – our graduation ceremony will take place on June 28th, 2023 at the historic Capitol Theatre in downtown Chatham. Fees for graduation are now posted at schoolcashonline. If you plan to attend graduation you must pay your fees by April 1,2023. Tickets for grad will be distributed in June, approximately 2 weeks prior to our ceremony. Don’t delay – get your fees paid today!
Hey gr.11 and gr.12’s, don’t forget to sign up your team of 8 for this fall’s senior Dodgeball tournament! Teams must consist of four girls and four boys, each player pays $5 for a team entry of $40. Sign up’s are happening at lunch in the cafeteria. Game day is Friday Oct. 28th. See you at lunch to sign up!

Its a bird, its a plane its, its, its ----------------------- Gabe V?? Gabe made every special team tackle and scored two touchdowns in UCC's defeat of the yellow team from down the street 42 to 6. UCC's defence suffocated the yellow team, pinning them in their own end for most of the game. Caleb R was, well, Caleb scoring on a kick off return, and making an acrobatic catch in the end zone in the third quarter. UCC will once again play the yellow team from down the street this Saturday at 1pm here in our backyard. We hope to see you there.

The Junior boys soccer team defeated the Northern Vikings 1-0 last night at home. The lone Lancer goal was scored by Nate V after a nice give and go with DJ P. Jake A collected the shutout with the help of strong defensive play of Antonio F, Luke V, Mateen S, Anthony P and Evan R in front of him. The Lancers square off at home again on Monday at 4pm against St Pats. Gooo Lancers!!!
