A reminder to all volleyball fans attending the games tonight. There will be a fee of 2 dollars for students and 3 dollars for adults. Please come in your Lancer blue full of respectful excitement to cheer on our Junior and Senior girls. Juniors start at 4:30 with our Seniors to follow. Go Blue!
For those students interested in working out after school. There has to be staff in the weight room in order for you to work out. Starting Tuesday Feb. 20 we will open the weight room after school to be used until 3:30. Schedules will be posted on the weight room doors down the 500 hallway near the cardio room. Proper workout clothing and shoes is mandatory. Please ask in the PEE office if you have any questions.
A couple of reminders from Student Council: Today during period 4 members of Student Council will be dropping off Valentine’s Day candy grams to classes. Also, remember that you are permitted to wear either a red or purple top with uniform bottoms tomorrow as part of Valentine’s Day and Ash Wednesday
The senior girls volleyball team are back in action TONIGHT to host the LKSSAA semi finals at 6:00 pm, or when the junior girls are finished, against St. Pat's from Sarnia. Be sure to bring your $2 and your loud cheering and celebrate this wonderful taco Tuesday by cheering these girls to victory!
The UCC girls hockey team had a big win against St. Pats yesterday at Memorial arena. The girls came out firing and ready to play, leading the Irish 3-0 after the first period. The game ended with an 8-3 win for the Lancers with goals from Jaqueline D., Ava M., Fiona W., Jocalin H., and Arionna H. The Lancers take on Northern for their final league game on Thursday in Sarnia. Go Lancers!
The boys and girls curling teams played in Chatham last night against the Blenheim Bobcats. The boys were able to finish off their perfect season with a convincing 12-3 . The boys will play for the LKSSAA championship next Friday in Sarnia. The player of the game was Alex V. The girls lost to the second place Blenheim girls team 8-2, unfortunately putting an end to the girls season. Player of the game was Holly S. The coaches would like to thank all of the girls for their hard work and dedication this season.
