Attention Grade 9's and Grade 11's - how would you love the chance to see Montreal, Ottawa and New York or to travel overseas to the United Kingdom? The St. Clair Catholic District School Board is happy to host the Travel for Credit program again for the summer of 2025!

Our school board will be hosting two courses - Gr.10 Civics and Careers and Gr.12 University English. Students will engage with course content and earn credit all while travelling to different parts of the world!

If you are interested, see the flyer posted in the Guidance Edsby group and sign up for the virtual information session that runs next Thursday December 19th. See your guidance counsellor for more information or if you have any additional questions.

Attention UCC students,do you need volunteer hours? The Salvation Army is currently in the middle of their annual Christmas Kettle Collection but this year they are desperately short of volunteers. It's not too late for UCC students to help! If you are interested in helping this great cause and getting some of your volunteer hours completed come and see Mr. Evans in the Phys Ed office for more details.

ATTENTION GRADS!! The Yearbook Club wants your baby pic and a yearbook quote! We are asking that they be submitted by December 20. Both can be sent through email to Mrs. Denise Haines. Make sure your name is on both and please try to keep your quotes short and sweet!

Candy grams will be available the week outside the caf for $2. Don't miss out!

Get ready, Lancers! The moment you’ve been waiting for is here—popcorn sales are back! LifeSkills is excited to offer freshly popped popcorn for just $1 right outside Room 805, across from the tech classes. Congratulations to the Junior Boys Basketball team for their victory against LCCVI 62-30. Despite this being the boys first league game, they came out hard leading the game 20-8 by the first quarter and later picking up speed again in the third quarter finishing strong at the end. Special shout out to Jonathan F., racking up 22 points. Gavin W., showed off his moves dribbling into the paint creating countless opportunities while Anderson B., and Jackson L., picked up our defense. Lastly, Zander T., (aka the cheetah), kept up our team's pace sprinting up and down the court and using his speed to drive to the net. Way to go Lancers!

Wish the boys good luck as they take on McGregor this Thursday followed by the Stingers Tournament down in Windsor over the weekend.

Thanks to those who tried the Fifth Day of X-mas puzzle yesterday. Congratulations to our fifth day winner: Abigail K. Please check your email for how to claim your prize.

Come to the math floor to try today's puzzle and figure out what X is on the Sixth Day. Didn't try yesterday's puzzle? You can still submit an answer and be entered into our grand prize draw just before Christmas!

Stop by 901, the community hub today on your lunch for drop in with Amanda. Hope to see you there!!

Both Junior and Senior Reach for the Top Competitive Trivia will meet tonight in Room 605 after school. Come by and see if you can beat the teachers.

Good luck..

The senior boys picked up another win last night in Petrolia crushing to an 87-31 victory. It was a complete team effort as 6 lancers hit double digits. The team hits the road this weekend as they travel to Kitchener for a 32 team tournament and then are back home next week to continue league action.
