Join us for Drama Olympics on Tuesday, October 1st, in the school theatre! This action-packed event will feature a fun night of team building, laughter and drama! Plus, participants will get an exclusive opportunity to learn about this year’s entry into the National Theatre Schools Festival (NTS). NTS is a one-act play festival with local, regional, and provincial levels. Last year, UCC made an impressive impact with a student-written and student-run play, winning multiple awards, including the prestigious Spirit of the Festival award, and represented our area at the regional level in Hamilton. Are you thinking about applying to college? Then you need to come to guidance to pick up a permission slip to attend the 2024 College Information Program at St. Clair College, Chatham Campus on October 7th where representatives rom colleges across Ontario will be there to answer you questions. Bus leaves the Pines at 11:45 and returns at 1:45!
Yesterday we made a HUGE announcement letting you know that we are indeed doing a musical this year! We are doing Disney's Descendants- Part 1! Auditions will be on October 6th and 7th in the theatre. Be sure to fill out the application form and download the audition package by looking at the QR code that can be found on the posters scattered around the school.
We are looking for singers, dancers and actors. If you are interested in helping out backstage, be sure to fill out the application form as well. Those interested in stage crew will not need to attend the audition but we'd love to know who you are so we can reach out when the time comes.
We will have a short information meeting on Tuesday during both lunches in room 205. In the meantime, keep chillin' like a villain!
The Junior Boys Soccer Team was back in action last night against LCCVI. The boys battled hard to earn a 2-1 win with goals from Reegan M., and Ethan L. Up next, the Lancers face St.Pats at home this coming Tuesday! Let's fill the bleachers with Lancer Blue!
The senior girls basketball team visited CK Thursday night, putting up a strong fight. Shout out to Morgane S., and Addison H-L., for their outstanding offensive efforts, and to Lilly B., for her solid defense and game spirit! The girls are finding their groove and showed tremendous improvement in the second half. The lady lancers are back in action this weekend in Essex. Let’s go Lancers!"

The jr girls basketball team picked up another win last night beat CK 66-26. Alyssa L-H and Daphne N., each had 14 points in the victory. The lady Lancers travel to Windsor this weekend for their most challenging tournament to date.
