The junior boys volleyball team headed to Essex this weekend for their second tournament of the season. The boys started off the day strong, finishing first in their pool. They continued to dominate in the semi finals, beating the host team in two straight sets. The boys battled extremely hard in the championship game, but JUST missed taking home the gold after a fantastic game. The boys finished second in the tournament and Mrs. Sanford, Mr. Teeuwen and Mr. V are SO proud of you!!

The senior boys volleyball team headed to the University of Waterloo this weekend to compete in their annual two day tournament. The boys finished first in pool play with a 8-0 record after a thrilling 27-26 win over Smithville. They then went on to beat Uxbridge in the semi finals and Kingston in the finals in what were two thrilling 3 set matches. The team was led by defensive specialist Luke C who made some incredible digs and great passes at key moments. Another star was Jack S who was a force at the net all weekend and key to the teams success on defense. Next up we head to CKSS this Friday and Saturday. Come on out and support your Lancers!!

Ben C and Kuper H helped hold CK's defence to only 3 points on Friday afternoon, and an extremely efficient offence left our punt team on the sideline as UCC defeated the yellow team 44 - 3 in the season opener. Sawyer E, CJ R and Jaxen B carried the load on offence. Hats off to the offensive line in this one. The boys play this Wednesday here at UCC at 3:45 against Sarnia Northern. Hope to see you there. Go Blue.

The Jr Girls Basketball team headed to Belle River this past weekend for the 3rd annual St Anne's Tournament. The girls fought their way to the Consolation championship where they faced the St Joe's Lasers. The girls fought valiantly on the court, pouring their heart and soul into every play led by the defence and passing abilities of both Zav B and Jessica V, but ultimately came up short in a hard-fought game. Despite the loss, their determination and sportsmanship left a lasting impression and admiration with opposing coaches and refs. Their coaches are proud of all their hard work and effort.
