Learning at Home

Our Principal
Mark Renaud, Principal

Sacred Heart Catholic School has a vision that we are A Caring Catholic Community Educating Learners for Life’s Challenges. This vision remains our focus and is apart of everything that we do.

Our caring Catholic community can be seen in our beautiful liturgies and masses and in the daily efforts put forth by our supportive, committed staff, parents and volunteers who help to keep our mission and traditions alive. Our students learn the importance of living their faith and caring about one another by experiencing a school community with strong spirit. Their elected student parliament has been active in ensuring the school spirit and mission is realized.

Sacred Heart believes that everyone has the right to experience a safe and inclusive environment that ensures individuals are treated with dignity and respect. We understand that each student is unique and we celebrate individual qualities and gifts. We have a school Code of Conduct in place to help everyone better understand how to keep our school peaceful and safe.

Sacred Heart promotes a learning environment where all students experience high standards with enriching and challenging programs that leave students well prepared. Our dedicated staff actively participates in professional learning opportunities so as to remain current and knowledgeable. Our school improvement plan is an ongoing and cooperative effort to identify and promote student learning goals where student achievement and learning prepares students for their future in order to meet life’s challenges. Student achievement is a priority.

I consider it a privilege to serve such a great school in my role as principal. I am proud of our school’s many accomplishments and will continue to remain committed and dedicated to our school vision and mission. I look forward to continued success and thank everyone who has worked to ensure that our school continues to reach excellence.

Privacy Advisory

Our families and staff enjoy opportunities to share some of their activities with parents and the school community through teams, clubs and special events. Many of these are ‘memory making’ for families and as such, photographs and videos are often taken.

We ask that families exercise their discretion when taking photographs or videos at school events and consider the privacy of other students who may also be present in those pictures. We would appreciate if families not upload images of students other than their own to the Internet (e.g. YouTube or Facebook). Your cooperation with this request is appreciated.
