Will I receive only one invite if I have more than one child in the same SCCDSB school?
Yes. You will receive one invite with all of your children’s names attached that are in attendance in the school.
Will I have more than one SCCDSB Edsby account if I have more than one child in school?
You will have one Edsby parent account, but you will receive a separate email invitation if your child attends another SCCDSB school (i.e Secondary).

*Note: if both parents/guardians have the same email account on file with the school, there will only be one Edsby invitation sent. Therefore, it is recommend that parents/guardians use distinct and separate email accounts.

To create an Edsby account, click the link in your email invitation. On a second screen enter and confirm a password. Your email address (your username) will already be entered. I have a child(ren) at another SCCDSB school. Why are they not in Edsby?
To see a child(ren) attending another SCCDSB school, you need to receive an invitation from that school. When you receive the invitation click "I have an Edsby account" and enter your existing Edsby username and password. Your child(ren) will be added to your existing Edsby account. *Please note, this account will only gain access to children within the St. Clair Catholic District School Board.

Edsby has been chosen by St. Clair Catholic District School Board to provide a modern way for parents and guardians to follow their child's progress at school, receive school updates, and much more.

As a parent, you are an important part of the school family – and ongoing communication is essential. Through Edsby, for each of your children – even if they go to different schools – you will see all their teachers and classes.

Edsby is a safe and secure communications tool that allows teachers to share meaningful information with parents about your child’s activities and progress at school. It also empowers students by enabling them to connect, collaborate and share their learning with teachers and fellow students.  And, it will enhance and simplify communication among and between teachers, students and parents.

Edsby is brand new at St. Clair Catholic.  This is year one of a multi-year implementation plan.  We look forward to the many communication benefits Edsby will provide.  As classrooms are ready to begin implementation, you will receive more information from your school about how you can sign up.
