Every October, Children's Aid Societies across the province of Ontario raise awareness about the role that adults and communities play in supporting vulnerable children, youth and families.  On Ontario Dress Purple Day, Children's Aid Societies partner with school boards and child care centres to speak up for every child and youth's right to safety and well-being in all spaces and to celebrate the community that cares for kids.

Ontario Dress Purple Day offers an important opportunity for us to show our support for this goal.

"I want to thank our staff for this symbolic yet important show of support for the work done in our schools and by our Children's Aid Society partners, as together we support vulnerable youth and children and their right to be safe in our communities," says Deb Crawford, Director of Education.
