More than 250 students and 150 volunteer drivers and staff were on hand to make this year's Cyclone Aid food drive another huge success!
"It is an amazing experience every year," says Joseph Palko, St. Patrick's Catholic High School Chaplaincy Leader. "The Cyclone Aid and Irish Miracle food drives are tremendous opportunities for our entire school community to live out our gospel beliefs and connect with our community in ways that really help people."
More than 4,300 bags of food and $700 in cash donations were collected for the Inn of the Good Shepherd food bank on Saturday, March 24th.
"We hope this will supply our friends at the Inn of the Good Shepherd with at least a month's supply of food," says Mr. Palko.
Student organizers say they want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who participated; and to the members of the community who opened up their cupboards and generously supported this annual event.
