Kindness Keeps Your Body Healthy
-
Stronger Heart: Believe it or not, kindness is good for your heart! It can lower your blood pressure and reduce your risk of heart disease.
-
Better Sleep: Doing good deeds can lead to better sleep. When you feel good about yourself, you're more likely to have a restful night.
-
Live Longer: Some studies suggest that people who are kind and compassionate actually live longer!
Today's kindness thought is...When you woke up this morning you were enough. When you go to bed, you will still be enough.
Need an idea for a random act of kindness! Say ‘hi’ to someone new today!
Today is the day for Descendents Musical Hair and make-up auditions.
Remember to bring your practice model, skills and creativity to room 815 promptly at 2:30.

Hi Everyone;
Just a reminder that spring is around the corner which means it is now time to kick planting into gear. Enviro club will run every Monday, from 2:30 to 3:30. Hope to see you there.
The Junior Girls Volleyball team absolutely dominated in their semi-final game against St. Pats winning 3 straight sets last night. Our lucky charm of the night was Josie Heslop who passed excellently and played strong defense. Come and show your LOVE for these Lancers on Friday at 5:30 in the Lancer Dome. They will be facing our rivals up the road, CKSS. Let’s fill the stands with blue and white Lancers!!!
Yesterday UCC sent 21 grapplers to the LKSSAA wrestling championships in Sarnia. We had a great day with Gold medals pinned down by Hunter H., Matt L., Paige S., Ayden B., Emmanuella C. and Aurora Williams. Silver medals were snatched up by Tara Wilson, Landon Bardoel and Bo Cockburn.
Bronze medals were earned by Logan S., and Juliana D.,
Honourable 4th place finishers were Anthony P., and Dean R. Wish these 13 wrestlers luck as they have qualified to wrestle at the SWOSSAA championships next Thursday in Sarnia. Way to go to all the wrestlers for the grit they demonstrated in their matches. The coaching team is very proud of all of you for the season of hard work and dedication so far!
The senior girls volleyball team defeated St. Pat's in three straight sets last night in the LKSSAA semi finals. The team kept the Irish under 12 points the entire night, with every single member of the team contributing to win, including Sadie "The Cobra" B., who served an ACE! MVP of the night was Taryn D., for her smart sets. The girls take on CKSS THIS FRIDAY here at the Lancerdome at 7pm for the LKSSAA championship. Congratulations ladies!
The girls hockey team took down their cross town rivals CK 3-1 in their last game of the regular season. Jacqueline D., got the girls on the board with a wicked snipe set up by Jocalin H., and Ava M. D., would return the favour, setting up Hastings for the second goal of the period, also set up by Tessa V., Addison A., finished off the hawks in the third period with a nice one timer from a sweet pass by Arionna H, and Georgia P. Grace G., got the win, and player of the game. It was a great overall performance by every member of the team. Gooooo Lancers!
