Listen up Lancers!! Dressdown Day has been postponed to Thurs. Oct. 3rd. That's right, Dressdown Day is NOT this Thurs. It has been changed to next Thursday Oct. 3rd. You must be in uniform all of this week. We are waiting for student cards and stickers for those who have paid, to come in. If you have not paid you will not receive a sticker on your student card, and you will not be allowed to participate in Dressdown Days this year. Don't forget to buy your tickets today online if you have not done so! Money from paying for your Dressdown Days goes to local charities. It's for a good cause!
Next Wednesday, Oct. 2 is UCC's Orange Shirt Day. Orange Shirt Day is where we support and recognize residential schools and residential school survivors. There will be grade assemblies in the theatre to highlight the history of the long lasting impact and specifically how it affects UCC and our students. Please join Kidwin Zhingwaak in wearing orange shirts that day. If you are one of the many who say "I do not have an orange shirt", we have you covered. Orange shirts will be on sale at the start of next week for $12.00. Further information will be posted on Lancer Vision and announcements.
Nathan H scored twice, Ryan G, Koren S, Owen and Kurt C also put the ball into the end zone as the Jr. Lancer football team racked up 46 points while shutting out the CK Hawks 46-0 in the season opener yesterday in front of a packed crowd here at UCC. The offence totalled 474 yards on the ground and in the air while the UCC defence allowed CK only 12 yards of total offence. A dominant start to the 2019 campaign. Go Blue!
