The girls rugby team returned far too early yesterday from their OFSAA championship tournament in Kitchener. After a tough loss in the opening round the girls played their best rugby of the season in the next two. It was a fantastic end to a fantastic season. Coaches are extremely proud of all of the 54 players. The coaches would like to say thanks for the memories to all of the graduating players: Yvonne W, Tia B, Sydnee C, Kayla S, Emma R, Brynn L, Allison S, Gracie S, Eden H, Marissa B and Jillian V.
YOU are invited to come celebrate a Kaleidoscope of Arts on Thursday June 2 at 6pm. The evening will begin in the theatre with some amazing performances by some very talented Lancers followed by an open house tour on the main floor of UCC. Come join the fun and support the arts!
Attention grade 12's, This is your Last Chance to buy your prom tickets via cashonline! We have extended the ticket sale till Wednesday, June 1st. After that date, no more tickets will be sold in person or online as final numbers need to be provided with one week's notice to the hall. Tickets will continue to be available for pick up all next week during the senior lunch. For organization purposes, these tickets need to be picked up asap. It's election time in Ontario and UCC is participating in Student Vote. On June 2nd, you will get to join students from across the province and cast a vote in mock election. Make sure you get informed on the issues so you can make a responsible choice.
The Athletic Banquet is one week today - next Wednesday, June 8th. Go to school cash online and purchase your bbq items. The awards banquet itself has no fee this year. All varsity athletes invited along with parents. See your coaches or Mr Denomy if you have any questions.
Students wishing to represent their graduating class as valedictorian on June 28th are encouraged to pick up an application form in the Guidance Department. The due date for submission is Friday, June 3rd. Please see Ms Mrnik in the Guidance Department for further information.
