Have you thought about being an engineer? Have you ever wondered what an engineer does? The Professional Engineers of Ontario will be here on Wednesday during senior lunch in Room 910 to answer all of your engineering questions! And they're bringing a FREE pizza lunch! Grade 11 and 12 students interested in learning more about engineering can meet at the start of senior lunch in Room 910. See Mrs. Brosseau for more details.

In support of the Life-Skills program, students have made bracelets to represent the Fruits of the Spirit. All proceeds and funds will go towards the Life-Skills room. There are 6 different bracelets representing: Joy, Love, Gentleness, Kindness, Faithfulness and Patience. All staff and students can purchase bracelets on School-Cash Online. The cut off for orders will be December 19th. Email Ms. Boss or Mr. Teeuwen if you have any questions.

The girls hockey team took the London Titan Tournament by storm over the last few days. The Lancers started off with a 3-0 win over St Anne's Clinton on goals by Dalia B, and two by Natalie B. Amber P recorded the shutout. They next took down Guelph Centennial 5-0 with Addison A leading the way with two goals, and Fiona W, Abby S, and Arionna H chipping in one a piece. Mya S making her first start for the Lady Lancers recorded the shutout. Next the Lancers finished off round robin play by beating Gonzaga from Missisauga 5-0. Abby put in a dominate shift, scoring 4 goals, and Natalie burying the other, scoring the fastest goal in Lancer history in 12 seconds. Strong defensive play from Fiona, Lucie M, Ella D, Dalia and Ava M allowed no goals during the round robin. In the semifinals, the girls scored 10 seconds into the game (besting their record from earlier in the day), and added another before the first minute mark, and went on to beat St. Joe's from St. Thomas 4-1. Abby put in two more, and Natalie and Arionna had 1 apiece.

In the A division finals the girls took on the reigning OFSAA gold medalists, and despite dominating long stretches of the game, fell 4-0. Mr. Wright, Ms. Balkwill and Mr. King are extremely proud of the girls performances. The Lady Lancers next take on CK this Thursday at Memorial at 2:30pm. Go Lancers!!!

The senior boys basketball team played great team defence last night beating Lambton central 65-16. Each player scored and Peyton D had his best game of the season finishing with 11 points. The Lancers take on the Panthers on Thursday at John Mcgregor. Tip off is 7:00.
