Attention all grade 12 students interested in finding out more about college programs in Ontario. On Tuesday, October 10th, you will have the opportunity to travel to the College Information Fair at Ridgetown College, where representatives from 26 colleges across Ontario will be available to answer your questions. The bus will be leaving UCC at 9:15 and will be returning at 11:30. You will need to return a signed permission slip in order to be registered for this trip. The UCC Golf team competed in the LKSSAA championship on Tuesday at Hidden Hills. Hannah B continued her dominance of high school golf in Chatham taking home the individual Girls title. Adam V's 2nd place finish in the boys division helped lead the UCC team of Cash K, Cohen K and Heath B to a SWOSSAA berth. Haylee C and Everett P also played very well and earned a spot at SWOSSAA. Congratulations to all 7 players.
The junior boys soccer team kicked off their season in style by defeating Great Lakes from Sarnia 5-1. It was a strong overall performance by all the players. UCCs goals were scored by Cam A, Jaydon H, Xavier M, Kareem S and Sylar W. The Lancers face off against LCCVI tonight at the Lancerbowl at 4pm. Gooo lancers!!!!
Last night the Senior Boys football team defeated the Northern Vikings 29-7. The defence was led by by Kuper H and Jaxen B. DJ P returned a kick off to start the second half, and the offence, led by Sawyer E and CJ R, never looked back. Great win boys. Make sure you stretch before practice tonight!
