Even though this is the last day of kindness and anti-bullying week we all encourage you to continue to be kind to others and help put a stop to bullying. Let's live like Jesus. We should seek kindness every day of every week. We will continue some of our activities next week. Kindness Candy Grams will extend into next week. We want to here about the Random Acts of Kindness you see...drop them in our kindness mailbox located in the caf! Please sign the Pink Shirt Anti-Bullying pledge with your period 3 class. "Kindness is giving hope to someone who thinks they are alone in this world." Be great UCC! Our positive challenge for you today is to choose your words carefully. Try not to even “just joke” with mean words. Use only positive words with your friends, family, peers, and teachers.
Have a green thumb? Enjoy a sense of the outdoors or growing food from a simple seed? Want to help "green" our school? Come on out to the Enviro Club on Thursdays, starting next week March 2nd. The Environment Club will run right after school from 2:30-3:30pm. Hope to see you there!
The girls hockey team take the ice on Monday at 2pm at Memorial Arena against their crosstown rivals CK for the LKSSAA championship. Come on out and support the girls into victory!
Attention all juniors!! Gr.9 and gr.10 students are invited to participate in a Junior Dodgeball Tournament on Thursday Mar.9th during per.4. Each team must consist of 4 girls and 4 boys. The cost to play is $5 per person, that is $40 a team! The winning team will have a chance to defeat the staff team! Teams of 8 can register beginning on Monday outside the cafeteria during gr. 9 and gr.10 lunches. Teams must have $40 to register along with a team name. Good luck, and have fun!
