Come on out this Monday after school for the UCC Book Club in the Commons room.

 

Calling all creative high school students! If you love to draw, paint, or express yourself through art, come be a part of our After-School Art Club! Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned artist, this is the perfect place to explore your creativity, work on fun projects, and meet new friends. Mark it in your calendars! Our first meeting will be Monday, September 23 in room 920 with Mrs. McEachran.

 

Hey UCC Students!!!

Starting next week, the Enviro Club will meet on Mondays, right after school, from 2:30-3:30 in the Greenhouse, a perfect place to be inspired!

 

See you on Sunday if you plan to tryout for this years cheer team. 6:00pm. Enter through the bus doors. Sign up if interested before tryouts

Next week representatives from the University of Windsor, the University of Guelph and Sault College will be at UCC.

Choir begins this Tuesday after school in room 921. Yup, I said it, Choir! See Mr. Brown if you can't make it.

 

The UCC Baseball will hold its 2nd tryout on Monday at 230pm at Sterling Park. The list of players invited to that tryout will be posted to the information boards by the end of period 2 today.

 

Thank you to everyone who tried out for the Golf team on Tuesday. The list of players invited to tryout #2 is posted on the student information boards in the main hallway. For those moving on The next tryout is Monday,, September 16th at 3pm at Willow Ridge in Blenheim.

 

Last night the Ursuline cross country team competed in their first meet of the season with some great early results.

 

In the novice boys, Eric West was 4th, Ben Childs 6th, George Glenn and Logan Stepniak was 9th.

In the novice girls, Madeline Verbeek was 1st, Alexa Howe 4th, Annabelle Blackburn 6th and Chelsea Whitehouse 7th.

In the junior girls Layla Olah was 1st.

In the junior boys Alex Whyte was 5th.

In the senior girls Ashlyn Blonde was 9th

It’s not too late to join the team. See Mr. Whyte in room 602 if interested(especially grade 10’s

The Reach for the Top Competitive Trivia Team just might be for you. Come try it out on Wednesday after school from 2:30-3:30 in Room 605. No experience is necessary. Open to all grades and Grade 9s are especially welcome.
