The junior girls basketball team wrapped up their season last Thursday losing in the swossa final 57-36. After struggling in the first half, the lady lancers started the 3rd quarter with 11 unanswered points forcing their opponents to call 2 quick timeouts. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to cut the lead to single digits in the second half. Nevertheless, the lancers refused to quit and competed until the final buzzer. The team had a tremendously successful season winning 4 tournaments and a league championship earning an overall record of 27-4. The future is extremely bright for these amazing young women and their coaches, Ms Biondi and Mr and Ms Dunlop, look forward to watching them shine on the court.
