With another outstanding and successful Lancers Athletics season soon to be wrapping up with even more success it is time to celebrate all of these accomplishments. On Tuesday June 11 we will be hosting our Athletics Dinner put on by Mrs. Deaneau and the Hospitality crew.
Dinner will include salads, rolls, potatoes, pasta, rice, chicken, drink and of course desert. Doors will open at 5 for dinner followed by the Banquet being hosted in the Theatre at 6.
Athletic Banquet tickets go on sale starting this Friday through Cash Online and will close next Thursday June 6.

Good morning Lancers! Next week is Multicultural week at UCC! Each day we will be talking about all seven continents which will allow us to tour the world in a school week. Keep your eyes peeled for your country's flag, cultural facts and pack your bags!
The girls slo pitch team travelled to Sarnia to compete in the LKSSAA playoffs yesterday. After having a first round bye due to seeding first in LKSSAA South, the girls took on JMSS in the semi final. They got out to a big early lead thanks to some clutch hitting from Stella N., Abby S., and Ella J. JMSS tried to stage a late comeback but came up short as the Lancers won 7-5. The girls then played against Great Lakes in the LKSSAA final. Despite going down 9-0 early on, the girls showed absolutely no quit and clawed their way back with a flurry of hits in the 4th and 5th innings to make it 9-7. Unfortunately, this was not enough as Great Lakes added on more runs in the 6th to make it a 14-7 final. In our second year as a team, the girls took great strides forward and all coaches are extremely proud of their efforts. Here's to doing bigger and better things next year.
The UCC Ultimate Frisbee team competed in Woodstock yesterday taking 3rd in the tournament. The team came together like a well oiled machine. Captain Sam Knowler was in usual fine form hitting team mates in the endzone often halfway downfield and was a defensive machine at the same time. Returning players Patrick G., Casey T., Makenzie S., Mary and Luke V., Emma d., and Kohen C., demonstrated leadership and advanced skills both on and off the field as returning senior players, helping the newer players Fola B., Jackson K., Noah M., Zander P., Diago R. F., Cole W., learn the skills and play as a team should. Special thanks for new recruits Molly C., Hanna D., and Ali P., under the guidance of under the guidance and support and encouragement of Co- Captain Teryn R., during practices and during play helping them performing like veteran athletes. The team scored too many points to count with everyone both scoring and assisting the high point counts.
