The Season Is Changing!

The official start to the school year is now a month ago on the calendar but the weather to date hardly reflects fall.  Celebrating Thanksgiving this past weekend really reinforced that school is well underway and the lazy days of summer are a distant memory.  We are 6 weeks into the school year.  This week we actually send out progress reports for all our students.  It also means that that the activities and events that come with a dynamic high school are now well under way.  We have held an opening school mass, kicked off extra-curricular activities, held grade level retreats, and the task of ongoing assessment and evaluation occurs regularly in the classrooms.  We certainly are off to a great start!

For parents new to UCC, you are encouraged to have conversations with your children to remain knowledgeable as to how their year is progressing.  I urge you to keep in contact with teachers and administration should concerns arise.  Watch our school calendar for important dates to join us throughout the year.
I promise an exciting and rewarding school year.  I want to assure you that the call to serve our students remains strong.  Our dedicated staff is committed to providing high standards of academic achievement within a faith based Catholic education.

Faith, Hope, and Charity is our school motto.  During your child’s years at UCC, we aim to foster those virtues while developing life-long learners.  We want your child’s experience and yours as parent and guardian to be a fulfilling experience.
Lancer Loud.  Lancer Proud!
