Portfolio Clinics at Home
OCAD University is offering a 3 week at home portfolio tutorial. In this 3-week online course taught by OCAD U instructors you will focus on portfolio development by learning to explore new materials and ways of creating, embracing research in your process, flexing your creative thinking, and writing about your work in different ways. This course begins on Wednesday, January 20th, 2021 and ends on Tuesday, February 9th, 2021.

Applying to Lambton College? Free Application Day!! February 24, 2021!!
On Wednesday, February 24 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m., the College will be hosting another Free Application Day for students who want to apply to a Lambton program for September 2021.
During this drop-in style event, members of the College’s Enrolment Team will virtually welcome interested students through Microsoft Teams. Guests of the event will have the opportunity to ask questions about Lambton programs, learn about student services, and receive one-on-one assistance as they complete their ontariocolleges.ca application form – with Lambton covering the cost of the $95 application fee.

Students interested in learning more about Lambton College programs are encouraged to attend Virtual Open House, taking place on Saturday, March 27 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Guests of the online event can expect to attend various live-streamed information sessions on topics such as student services, campus life, financial aid and multiple program sessions hosted by Lambton faculty. Tour Lambton College...Virtually!!
Explore Lambton’s world-class learning environments via Livestream Campus, taking place every other Tuesday at 2 p.m. from January 12 until March 23.
Tour guests will have the opportunity to see how new additions such as the NOVA Chemicals Health CAMR; Research Centre and Athletics Camp; Fitness Complex have dramatically transformed the campus and enhanced the student experience at the College.

ONTARIO COLLEGE VIRTUAL FAIR - November 4 & 5, 2020
Ontario colleges are going virtual this fall, with a two-day fair that will showcase 24 of the province’s colleges for high school students, their parents and others interested in attending college next year.
The Ontario College Virtual Fair will be held November 4, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and November 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
How does it work???
- Interested students and parents register on the event website.
- The day of the event, attendees receive an email with a link to download and install the event software on their PC or Mac. (all technical requirements are listed at www.ontariocollegefair.ca
- Attendees create an avatar and navigate the event space, meeting with reps from 24 Ontario Colleges.
The virtual platform will feature an interactive event space that replicates an in-person fair. Attendees will be able to personalize their own avatars, which will have texting and real-voice capabilities, allowing for interaction with staff, faculty and current students from participating colleges.
Each college will have its own exhibition floor space. Within that space, colleges will have multiple booths, where attendees will be able to have one-on-one discussions with staff, watch videos and ask questions. A virtual auditorium will allow attendees to hear about individual campuses, competitive programs, scholarship opportunities and other highlights.
Presentations on topics such as How to Apply for College, Paying for College and College Pathways will be available for viewing in a larger virtual auditorium.
Attendees can register now at www.ontariocollegefair.ca. On the day of the event attendees receive a link to download and install the event software.
Lambton College Fall Open House - Saturday November 21,2020
Lambton College will be holding their first ever Virtual Open House on Saturday November 21, 2020. Interested students will also have the opportunity to Live Chat with Enrolment Advisors, explore labs and facilities in a virtual space, and follow along on a tour of the campus in real-time. A variety of prizes – including the chance to win tuition – will also be up for grabs during the online event.
As an added incentive, Lambton College will pay the $95 application fee for any student who chooses to apply to a Lambton College program during the event.
Details of the Virtual Fall Open House are still being finalized, but interested students can click here for updates as they become available. Attendees can also pre-register for a chance to win a $50 Visa gift card.
LAMBTON COLLEGE SPRING OPEN HOUSE - SATURDAY MARCH 28, 10:00-2:00
On Saturday, March 28 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., the College will celebrate its annual Spring Open House with a jam-packed agenda filled with interactive activities, educational information and detailed tours of all Lambton’s newly constructed buildings and facilities.
Guests of the daylong event will have the opportunity to take a personalized tour of the brand new NOVA Chemicals Health & Research Centre and Athletics & Fitness Complex, as well as the Centre of Excellence in Energy & Bio-Industrial Technologies.
Opportunities to explore other aspects of the growing campus will also be available via group tours that will include detailed stops such as the Esports Arena (the first of its kind in Canada) and ongoing shuttles to the Fire School, the Skilled Trades Training Centre, and Residence.
Additional incentives include the opportunity to apply to Lambton College on-the-spot. The Enrolment Team will be available to assist all guests with the application process during the event. As an added bonus for attending Open House, Lambton College will pay the $95 application fee for any students who apply during the event.

How to Apply to University
Student who are planning to apply to an Ontario University will need their PIN in order to complete their online application at http://www.ouac.on.ca/ouac-101/
The deadline for completed online application and payment is on or before Wednesday, January 15, 2020 in order to received equal consideration for admission to programs beginning the following September.
PIN's will be available from your Counsellor in Student Services in November 2019.
