The Sanofi Biogenius Canada Competition is a one of a kind opportunity for students in Grades 9 -12.
Students will explore ideas that can help shape the future, while pursuing ground breaking research projects.
Students can enter as an individual or in pairs, if attending the same high school.

Discovery Health Camp
Do you have an interest in a career in medicine, nursing, dentistry, paramedics, kinesiology or other healthcare professions? Then Discovery Healthcare Camp is the perfect opportunity for you.
Open to high school students, it offers an exciting week of activities led by medical students from the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University.
You will learn career opportunities in healthcare, the requirements to pursue this path and develop an understanding of the unique aspects of healthcare in the community, as well as take part in:
- Clinical skills sessions (suturing, casting, stethoscope activities, wound dressing)
- Talks from healthcare professionals and opportunities for clinical exposure (job shadowing)
- Discussions involving the path to various healthcare professions (medicine, nursing, pharmacy, EMS, and dentistry)
- Stand Up for Health (teaching Social Determinants of Health)
- An introduction to case-based learning and sample diagnostic cases
- Recreation sessions incorporating fun and team-building activities
Location: Lambton College
Dates: July 11 - 15, 2022, from 8:30 - 4:30 daily.

Lambton College now offering Mechanical Techniques - Plumbing
This brand new, one-year Ontario College Certificate program was designed to cover the Level I in-school curriculum for the Plumbing Apprenticeship. Grads will have an understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of the plumbing trade and become familiar with the associated tools and materials in accordance with industry safety standards and the Ontario Plumbing Code.
In addition to vocational training, students will take courses in the areas of communication, mathematics and teamwork skills.

Go CODE Girl provides an exciting opportunity for girls, including all who identify as female, in grades 7-11 across Ontario to learn about the exciting world of coding and software development and discover opportunities in computing and engineering fields.
Learning to code can lead to increased digital confidence, a different way of thinking about problems and the ability to understand and use technology to help develop creative solutions in almost any discipline.

Robotics Challenge with Canadore College
Canadore College is offering an exciting opportunity for students interested in robotics and STEM. The Virtual Robotics Training Academy (VRTA) competition enables you to design your very own virtual robot and compete against up to 200 participants for a chance to win prizes! The contest details are:
- Competitors work individually – no teams.
- Hosted online – only browser and internet connection required.
- Competitors will receive description of their challenge at the beginning of the event and will have one week to design and test their solutions.
- Flexible scheduling – work around your schedule!

Royal Canadian Legion Poster /Literature Contest
This year, contestants are challenged to exercise their creativity and submit a poster, a poem or an essay on the theme of REMEMBERANCE. This is a contest to select the most suitable posters and literary works submitted by students in the Canadian school system. The poster will be judged at the local branch and then the provincial level.
The 1st prize award for grades 10. 11 and 12 students is $1000; the award for 1st for grade 9's is $500. On notification of having been selected as a winner at the Dominion Command level, the artist or writer agrees to the full and exclusive non-profit use of the art of literary work by the Royal Canadian Legion for 1 year.
