Silver medalists were Ethan W, Clara R, Wesley C, Kayla S & Maddison S. Your Bronze medalist was Danny C.  Well done once again wrestlers!

Listen up Lancers, this week is Homeless Awareness Week at UCC. Did you know that many people become homeless because of what has happened to them in the past? It could have been because of trauma, mental health, money problems, drug addiction or simply bad decisions. Let's make a difference in their lives. Your period one class has been challenged to bring in items that the homeless are in need of. Bring those items in and win your class a pizza lunch!

Reminder to students that the Public Health Nurse will be at UCC on Tuesday, January 14th, 9am-1pm.

The midget girl's volleyball team played in the Panther Invitational Tournament this past Friday. They won 8 of 9 sets to beat Tilbury, Dresden, and John Mc Gregor which lead them to the semi-finals. They played against the CK hawks winning the first set, losing the second, and rallying in a well played tie breaker set that moved them into the Championship final match against Sarnia St.Pats. The girls fought hard against the Fighting Irish with strong sets by Gabby and Anna, and gritty blocking by Olivia, Kylie, and Keyuana. Even with the calming leadership of Livia and Sam they lost the first set 25-19 and second set 25-23, to place second out of eight teams.  Congratulations on a spirited battle girls - Lancer loud Lancer proud.
