When encountering a homeless person, the 3 best things to do are: not judge, smile and acknowledge they exist. A homeless person in Chatham-Kent, said to ROCK Missions, that when they die they will be alone and no one will notice they have died, they do not matter. As Catholics we are taught to help others and be kind. Thank you to all LANCERS for contributing to the school wide challenge of bringing in items for the homeless. Your kindness will show the homeless that you care and that they matter

Did you read a novel this semester?   Great!  Was it from your classroom library? Be sure to return those novels to your teacher.  We love our books and we'd like to share them with more students next semester.  You didn't finish reading it? Hey, we won't judge!!  But we would still like it back in our classroom library. Look in your backpacks, your lockers, under the seat of the car, under your bed, in your closet and in your sister's room.  You know it has to be somewhere!! Feel free to return it to any English teacher.  Happy Reading!!

The Lady Lancers hockey team battled against the WDSS Tartans Wednesday and came away with a hard fought tie.  Both teams had their chances, and if not for a few posts, the Lancers would have came away with the victory.  A special shout out to Amber P as she made many great saves earning her first shut-out in regular season play as a Lancer! Great job!
