Important Notice from Ontario University Application Centre (OUAC)

RE:  Fee Structure for 2019 Cycle

“Previously, the OUAC waived the cost if a student asked to withdraw a choice and add a new one. With our (OUAC) recent move to more "real time" processing, however, there has been a dramatic increase in multiple changes to applications. This has caused confusion for applicants and university administrators as to the current status of the application. As a result, we are no longer waiving the cost when students ask to withdraw and add new choices after they've submitted their payment.”

OUAC's fee structure is made up of the following:

  • base application fee of $150 for the first 3 university/program choices (which is the same as previous years)
  • An additional choice fee of $50 for any additional university/program choices beyond the initial 3.
  • There is no charge for modifying a choice within the same university.
