The new hoodie will be a normal uniform item which can be worn everyday.

COURSE SELECTION FOR THE 2017-2018 SCHOOL YEAR 

Course Selection for the 2017-2018 school year will begin Tuesday, February 21, 2017.  Students will be using the “High School Planner” feature within the website www.myblueprint.ca/stclair  to select and submit their courses for next year.

Student access to the website is the same username and password used last year.  Students who do not have an access account can follow the instructions found in the “Instructions” link on the school website.  Course Selection Instructions, a list of Course Offerings by Department, an online Course Calendar and a direct link to "myBlueprint" are posted on the school website.

Guidance Counsellors will be meeting with classes to present information about course offerings and requirements for graduation.  Students are encouraged to make informed and wise selections for next year’s courses. Guidance Counsellors are available to assist students with their course selections.

It is important to note that timetables, courses, and staffing are determined based upon selections made at this time of the year.

The deadline to submit course selections through www.myBlueprint.ca/stclair is March 9th, 2017.

Parents are strongly encouraged to review the courses selected with students prior to submitting.

OSSLT UPDATE INFORMATION 

Dear Parents of students who participated in the OSSLT (Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test), 

Our school is communicating with you today to share that we have received results from EQAO regarding the administration of the OSSLT. 

As you may recall, the assessment was completed on October in electronic format only, and despite some challenges across the province using this format, we are pleased to share that over 200  St. Patricks students were successful on the assessment and will not be required to participate in the 2nd administration on March 30th.

Approximately 100 students will require re taking the assessment on March 30th, and those families and students have been notified.  As well, our school will be providing support to students who require re taking the assessment through in school sessions, and voluntary after school sessions you will see attached.

EQAO, has shared that the Individual Student Reports that confirm successful completion of the assessment will be provided after the March 30th assessment has been completed and evaluated, and we plan to forward to your attention once they arrive.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs. C. Kelly, Student Achievement Teacher at the school for further information.

St. Patrick's has organized a student trip to London, England and Vimy, Normandy and Paris, France for this April 20th to 28th, 2017. There remains a few open spots on the trip. If any student is interested, this is the last opportunity to sign up. Please contact Mr. Blake Morrison through the school office as soon as possible for further details.
