Welcome to the St. Joseph Catholic School website. St. Joseph Catholic School is a great place where our students learn , grow in their faith and have fun. Located in historic Downtown Chatham, St. Joseph serves a mix of approximately 180 urban and rural students. Our students enjoy a large playground at recess and an experienced, energetic and dedicated staff during educational periods. A variety of educational experiences and curriculum related field trips help our students experience the curriculum in a "hands-on-manner." Students and staff alike enjoy many of the special events that bolster school spirit and support a variety of social programs.

St. Joseph Catholic School benefits from an excellent partnership with our School Council. Council members are active in all of our initiatives. They are a vital component of our family and are dedicated to providing meaningful experiences for our students. All parents are encouraged to become active members of the St. Joseph Catholic School community. Together, we will be the best we can be.

The close proximity of the church ensures that St. Joseph is focussed in a community of faith. This bond of Church and School makes St. Joseph a special place to be and a centre of sacramental preparation. The parish team, consisting of the Pastor, Father Richard Saldanha, Deacon, Rev. Jerry Lozon, and Coordinator of Youth Ministry, Sue McMath, are a vital part of the school community.
