Principal's Message

Welcome to St. Agnes Catholic School. On behalf of the entire school family I would like to extend a special welcome to all new members of our staff and families. I trust the 2005-2006 school year will be a safe, happy and memorable one for everyone. Together we have been entrusted by God to nurture our children in a positive, faith-filled learning environment.

"Excellence and learning for all children" is our basic belief at St. Agnes Catholic School. The staff, students, parents, the school council and parish team members work cooperatively to provide a positive learning environment for your children to grow academically, physically and spiritually to become graduates that will be active community members.

The St. Agnes Catholic School Advisory Council will be organizing events to provide activities that benefit our children. Please participate in these activities, attend meetings and volunteer your help in any way that you can. We appreciate your support.

We want to see your children meet with success. You can assist in your child's development by reinforcing school procedures; that is, completion of assignments, punctuality, attendance and proper observance of school rules. In the event that you have concerns or comments regarding your children please contact the teacher. We value parental communication. We have an open door policy.

I am looking forward to an exciting year at St. Agnes Catholic School. I particularly look forward to continuing to build on our sense of community. Let's have a terrific year together!

Yours in Catholic Education,
Mrs. Johanna Cox
Principal

PATRON SAINT AGNES

St. Agnes was a Roman girl who was only thirteen years old when she suffered martyrdom for her Faith. Her love for God was very great and she hated sin.
