Welcome to St.
Anne School in Blenheim. The staff and I are pleased to
assist in the education of your children and trust that a very positive
working relationship between home and school will be created.
We have a very unique school. St. Anne
serves approximately three hundred students in grade four to eight. Along with an English Program, we offer a French
Immersion stream. Working closely with our sister school, St. Mary. We endeavour to serve all the families of the Blenheim
area. Many exciting learning projects have been initiated this year. We are
pleased to have an ‘Instrumental Music Program' for our grade six,
sevens and eights. Thanks to several corporate sponsors, service clubs and
parental donations, we have purchased thirty new instruments for our
students. Also a major upgrade of our computer lab has taken place. We look
forward to a number of new computers for our students to learn on. As well
as, a new initiative to make the school a “wireless” connection
for all computers. This will
allow our new computer cart to be used in any location of the building
without connecting to a data drop.
Communication with home is very
important. Look for our school newsletter the last week of every month. It
will be sent home with the youngest member of each family. The newsletter
contains important information regarding the following month at our school.
We provide in the newsletter a grade level curriculum update so that parents
are aware of key concepts their child will be studying.
I am surrounded by dedicated teachers and
enthusiastic students. I encourage you to visit or to call the school
