Adobe Photoshop Elements
The Adobe Digital Kids Club makes it easy for educators to introduce digital photography and video into the classroom. Students take photos with their digital cameras and then use Adobe Photoshop Elements software for Windows and Mac to edit, enhance, organize, and share their images.
Adobe Digital Kids Club - Lessons and Activities
As Catholic educators and responsible citizens, it is appropriate to discuss the ethical use of photos and technology, before any work with digital photo enhancement. Permission is needed to alter or enhance any photos. This is also a great lead in to discussion how the "industry" (TV, movies, magazines, etc.) use technology to enhance what the consumer sees. Evolution, is an excellent video clip, by Dove - Campaign for Real Beauty (Self-Esteem Campaign) to demonstrate this topic.
