St. Anne School is located in the wonderful town of Blenheim, Ontario. Blenheim is part of the Municipality of Chatham-Kent. Please browse at your leisure and send us e-mail if you have any comments or suggestions.

Welcome to St. Anne School in Blenheim. The staff and I are pleased to assist in the education of your children and trust that a very positive working relationship between home and school will be created.

Communication with home is very important. Look for our school newsletter the last week of every month. It will be sent home with the youngest member of each family. The newsletter contains important information regarding the following month at our school. We provide in the newsletter a grade level curriculum update so that parents are aware of key concepts their child will be studying.

I am surrounded by dedicated teachers and enthusiastic students. I encourage you to visit or to call the school should you have any questions or concerns. We are pleased to have the opportunity to work with you in partnership.

Get MS Office Free from your School

Microsoft Office 365 Education for Students is available for free to students who are enrolled with the St. Clair Catholic District School Board. Install Office on up to 5 PCs or Macs and on other mobile devices, including Android, iPad®, and Windows tablets. For additional information, click here.

Your Child’s Immunization during a Disease Outbreak

For school attendance, parents are required by law to provide proof of their child’s immunization to Public Health.  To find out what vaccines are required and if your child’s immunization records are up-to-date, please call the Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit.  You can also book an immunization appointment.

If you’ve chosen not to immunize your child, you must have a notarized statement of medical exemption or a statement of conscious/religious belief on file with Public Health.  Please contact us to arrange for your child’s exemption to be on file if you have not already done so.

If there is an outbreak of disease in your child’s school and his/her immunization record is not up-to-date with Public Health, or you have an exemption on file, your child will not be allowed to attend school for the entire duration of the outbreak.

As you may be aware, Measles cases have recently been identified in Ontario, Quebec, and Manitoba.  The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care was advised on February 16, 2015 of a confirmed case of measles in a person who attended the “Acquire the Fire” event, a mass gathering of youth that was held in Toronto, at Queensway Cathedral on February 6 and 7, 2015.  If your child attended this event, please contact Chatham-Kent Public Health.

Click here for a Measles factsheet has been provided for your convenience.

Privacy Advisory

Our families and staff enjoy opportunities to share some of their activities with parents and the school community through teams, clubs and special events. Many of these are ‘memory making’ for families and as such, photographs and videos are often taken.

We ask that families exercise their discretion when taking photographs or videos at school events and consider the privacy of other students who may also be present in those pictures. We would appreciate if families not upload images of students other than their own to the Internet (e.g. YouTube or Facebook). Your cooperation with this request is appreciated.
